China Consulting Ltd and China Recruitment Ltd were founded by Daniel Nivern and Edward Holroyd Pearce in August 2006. Both companies were run from offices in London with a small team of British and Chinese employees.

China Consulting Ltd was designed to offer strategic assistance to British SMEs looking to enter into the Chinese market and initially focused on projects in education and insurance sectors. China Recruitment Ltd provided internship opportunities and Mandarin courses for UK students looking to gain experience in China.

In November 2007, the companies opened an office in Beijing and expanded the team with new UK and Chinese managers.

In December 2008, CRCC Asia Ltd was registered in Hong Kong and acquired a full holding stake in both China Consulting Ltd and China Recruitment Ltd. The company received investment and a new shareholder Mr. Thomas Kirkwood, who brings with him 15 years experience of working in China and expertise in the energy sector, real estate and investment banking.

In October 2009 CRCC Asia LLC was incorporated and the US office was set up to provide a point of contact for customers from North and South America, and as a sales outlet for our Beijing internship programs.
