Chinese Calligraphy Class – Jan 18th, 2017
This Wednesday, January 18, 2017, Beijing Program participants attended their Cultural Event of this month, a Chinese calligraphy class, to learn how to write traditional Chinese New Year scrolls for the upcoming Spring Festival.
All the interns enjoyed the warm New Year atmosphere in Mandarin House and were inspired by the history of New Year scrolls and how to use a Chinese brush pen taught by their Mandarin teachers. 12 interns joined the class, and the classroom became a little bit crowded with excitement. CRCC Asia Beijing office holds Cultural Event every month to develop a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
Look how enthusiastic they were when they start writing their own New Year scrolls on the traditional Chinese red papers!
