Following Hui Lin’s internship in Beijing, we conducted an interview to see how she got on! Enjoy.
I am currently a Pharm. D. Candidate of 2021 at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and completing my second year in pharmacy school.
My internship in Beijing at an international hospital allowed me to shadow fellow pharmacists in the field and gain more insight on hospital pharmacy. It expanded my viewpoint on the career field and helped me build my CV after I returned.
I would highly recommend the experience because you are not only advancing in your career path but you obtain cultural knowledge and appreciation from it. It is a unique experience and becomes a story when you interview.
