ROLE ‌

CRCC Asia is looking for a passionate and sales orientated individual to join our growing team. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for growing CRCC Asia’s network of partner host companies in Tokyo and Osaka and supporting them as they host our participants. Our Business Development team focuses on three main areas: Lead Generation, Lead Nurturing and Client Management. The position will work collaboratively with our regional and global teams to strengthen existing partnerships as well as establish new relationships

 

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation –

  • Support the development of an email outreach campaign targeting suitable potential Host Companies
  • Establish new Host Company leads through referrals with existing Host organisations, partnership building with Chambers of Commerce and Business Networks and through establishing a sustainable email marketing campaign
  • Use mailshots, social media and events to innovatively outreach to potential Host Companies

Lead Nurturing and Development –

  • Manage a portfolio of Existing Host Companies ahead of the relaunch of our international internship programs in 2022
  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new Host Companies in Tokyo and Osaka
  • Keep Host organisations up to date with our programs and relevant information
  • Vett Host Companies (with the support of our on the ground teams) to check they are inline with H&S protocols and suitable for our programs

Client Management-

  • Responsible for evaluating participants profiles and effectively ‘matching’ them to a suitable Host Company
  • Engage with participants to establish specific needs, requirements and opportunities available on our programs
  • Assist the Program Management Team with participants welfare if issues arise in the workplace
  • Assisting with Host Company documentation needed for participants Visa’s
  • Keep information up to date in our CRM system

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 1-3 years experience in business development or account management

The role combines:

  • Organizing, delivering and evaluating the calendar of events for our Tokyo Internship Programs
  • Pastoral Care and support for our participants on CRCC Asia Tokyo Programs
  • Liaise with service providers and stakeholders linked to the program
  • Responsible for the overall supervision of participants with the aim of providing a healthy, safe, meaningful and enjoyable study abroad experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for interns safety and security during emergency situations
  • Organizing logistics for University Partners where needed, including tours around Japan

The position offers a unique professional opportunity related to a variety of fields including customer service, event management, higher education, international education, business development and travel and tourism.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Study Abroad Industry, Customer Service, Program Management, Event Planning and Management or another related industry essential
  • Organization skills with acute attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a dynamic work environment
  • Understanding of CRCC Asia business model, company culture, and internship programs
  • Flexible and adaptable to ever changing situations and demands
  • Experience with crisis management, mediation and conflict resolution

3. Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Liaising directly with applicants for CRCC Asia’s upcoming programs- through emails, advising sessions and phone calls. All communication is in English 
  • Responding to online queries in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all interns have a full understanding of the application process and program offerings, while managing their expectations
  • Being up-to-date with key employability and industry trends across all of our program locations to best advise students and universities of opportunities 
  • Manage students’ accounts and collect the necessary information for the internship placement 
  • Set and monitor payment deadlines
  • Oversee visa processing 
  • Directly assisting the Managing Director and other members of the Senior Leadership Team as requested. Tasks are likely to include exposure to various other aspects of the business 
  • Support management of applicant information within CRM system

 

4. Requirements

  • Fluent written and spoken English 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree education
  • Previous experience in the Study Abroad Industry or a Customer Service Position, preferred but not essential
  • Ideally traveled or studied abroad for at least 2 consecutive months
  • You’ll be passionate about advising and promoting our employability programs to students
  • You’re up for a challenge and are adept at managing multiple priorities
  • You don’t like waiting for things to happen – you get things done and go into every project or task with a mindset of ‘making things happen’!
  • Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of our program locations: that’s China, Japan, Vietnam and South Korea
  • You have an excellent telephone manner and you’ll be comfortable speaking on the phone with various stakeholders including universities and applicants
  • Experiencing using Excel and/or a CRM system in previous work or internships
  • Organization skills with acute attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a dynamic work environment
  • Understanding of CRCC Asia business model, company culture, and internship programs
  • Flexible and adaptable to ever changing situations and demands

The role:

As our internship programs in Asia continue to impress our participants, university partners, and government education authorities, CRCC Asia is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Digital Marketing Team

The role traverses the following areas:

  • Growth – responsible for achieving an increase in applications for our internship programs
  • Campaign Management – campaign planning, creation and execution
  • Analytics – reporting and optimization, including in-depth analysis of ROI of all activities
  • Brand Messaging – ensure unified messaging and consistent branding across all marketing and communications channels
  • Vendor Management – establish strong relationships with third party agencies and suppliers
  • Creative Production – manage our in-house creatives and provide analysis Requirements:
  • 2-4 years previous Digital Marketing experience
  • Preferably previous experience working in a fast paced/startup environment
  • Previous experience of B2C campaigns through social media and google ads
  • Ability to write compelling web, social media and email content
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of marketing tasks and projects
  • Organization skills with acute attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a dynamic work environment
  • Understanding of CRCC Asia business model, company culture, and internship programs
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
