Michael been working with CRCC Asia since September 2011 and is responsible for overseeing our company expansion into the Asia Pacific region. Originally working in our Beijing office Michael was relocated to Sydney after delivering excellent results to establish our first office in the Oceanic region, successfully positioning CRCC Asia as the leading China Internship provider in Australia and New Zealand.
Michael is also responsible for our website development and works closely with our global marketing teams on various digital media initiatives. Michael is the General Manager for our Sydney office managing our various teams and helping to further improve bilateral links between Australia and China.
Prior to working with CRCC Asia Michael studied for a Bachelor Degree in Politics and International Relations at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, where he was born and raised. Upon graduation Michael relocated to Beijing, China, here he worked as a Marketing Assistant for the popular domestic social networking service Renren.

Mike was born in Sacramento, California, and attended Chico State in Northern California where he received a BA in History and Religious Studies. He continued his studies with a Masters Degree in Recreation Administration, with an emphasis on service learning. Mike has lived and worked in China, South Korea, Belgium, Germany and Hawaii. His previous work experience was focused on recruiting university interns to work on US Military bases internationally and running youth programs for military dependents at 126 different locations around the world.
Future travel plans include backpacking in South America and Southeast Asia and on the weekends you can find him on the golf course or in the Marin Headlands hiking and taking in the views.

As Asia Pacific Marketing Manager Shane is responsible for liaising between various universities in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. In addition Shane is also responsible for alumni engagement and outreach, social media activity and manages our Marketing Team in the Sydney office.
Shane has formalized a number of key university partnerships in Australia and has an excellent knowledge of our programs in China, firstly as a participant on our China Internship Program in Beijing and having visited our offices in Shanghai for business purposes in 2013.
Shane is originally from the South Coast of New South Wales and graduated with a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (Advertising and Marketing) from the University of Wollongong in July 2012. He has studied abroad in Germany, twice in the USA and completed a two month marketing internship in Beijing through CRCC Asia early in 2012.
These international experiences and other extensive travel are what make Shane passionate to help other students discover what the world has to offer and connect them with amazing opportunities for personal and professional growth gaining valuable work experience at a company in China.

As our Asia Pacific Regional Assistant Serena is responsible for providing key administrative support to the Asia Pacific Regional Manager each month, to help ensure a smooth pre-departure process. Serena is responsible for Visa processing and has developed an expert knowledge and understanding of China Visa regulations in Australia.
Growing up in Singapore, Serena was brought up in a dynamic international setting, having her parents from Hong Kong and Malaysia respectively, she has been exposed to travelling and studying abroad since a young age. Serena has been in Sydney since 2011 and now would not leave.
She has recently completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting) at the University of New South Wales. She has previously completed various internships in Singapore in 2013 and in 2010. Aside from that she has also lived and studied in Shanghai during her studies in Singapore.

As Asia Pacific Marketing and Regional Associate, Yolanda is responsible for providing substantial support to the marketing and administrative work in the Asia Pacific region, with her rich experiences in different types of companies in China.
Yolanda was born and brought up in a metropolis of Southern China. She has always been interested in the intercultural communication between China and the West, and she has completed her double degree of English and Spanish in Sun Yat-sen University and is currently studying Education in the University of Sydney. She has studied in the United States and Spain and travelled to a few countries. She loves meeting and learning from people of different cultural backgrounds and she is fascinated by salsa since arrived in Sydney

As our Asia Pacific Marketing Associate, Olivia is responsible for working with our Sydney Marketing Manager on marketing strategies within the APAC region. Prior to working with CRCC Asia, she has worked in Hong Kong, Beijing, Sydney and Auckland. Olivia was born and brought up in Hong Kong. She completed a 9-month Chinese language intensive course at Tsinghua University in Beijing before moving to Sydney to study at the University of Sydney (Bachelor of Psychology and Chinese Studies).
She has a passion for languages, having studied Mandarin, Spanish and French at University-level. Having explored over 28 countries, Olivia is an advocate for travel and the importance international experience holds in aiding cross-cultural understanding and cooperation. Future travel plans include backpacking in South America and doing a food-centred trip around the parts of Asia she has not yet explored!
