After graduating from university, I realized that I had no real professional experience to land me the type of career I was in search of. Therefore, I went in search of an internship that could help enhance my C.V. and make me stand out to potential employers. That is when I discovered the CRCC Asia internship program. I knew this was the type of experience I needed. I would gain work experience in a foreign country, learn about another culture, and begin my study of Mandarin Chinese.

Although moving to China can be scary, it was the best decision I have ever made. My internship in Shanghai was one of the best experiences not only professionally but also socially.

I would certainly recommend CRCC Asia to anyone. Not only does it enhance your C.V. but it also gives you the opportunity to have one of the greatest times of your life.

A month before starting graduate studies I decided I needed a break from school. I wanted to travel and gain real world experience. After searching high and low for the perfect opportunity, I stumbled upon CRCC Asia; I am glad I did! The 2-month language and internship in Beijing was one of the best experiences I have had to date. I know it may sound cliché but I stand by it 100%.

I was a junior at the time and started to feel the heat to land an internship. I began browsing my university’s career center website for different internships. The one that caught my eye was the internship in Beijing, China with CRCC Asia. I’m a business major and the prospect of working in China, the hub of the business world, excited me. It seemed like a no-brainer: study abroad while gaining valuable work experience. I applied immediately and before I knew it I was boarding a plane to Beijing.

Ultimately, interning in Beijing has given me that added edge to put me above the rest. It seems as if Marketing majors are a dime a dozen nowadays, but how many of them have real work experience that they gained in Beijing, China? It can be a daunting idea to consider spending two months in China, but I highly recommend it. CRCC Asia was more than helpful during my entire experience. They take care of all the hard stuff and point you in the right direction.

Essendo in procinto di laurearmi in International Business & Finance presso l’Università degli Studi di Bergamo, sentivo la necessità di potenziare le mie conoscenze teoriche con una esperienza reale nel mondo del lavoro, per accrescere sia esperienza che know how. Ovviamente la mia preferenza riguardava la possibilità di poter operare in contesti internazionali, quindi con maggior interesse per l’ambiente estero. Grazie alla mia Università sono venuto a conoscenza della possibilità di svolgere un periodo di tre mesi di stage in Cina con CRCC Asia, presso realtà aziendali locali ed internazionali, al fine di accrescere le mie esperienze lavorative ed il mio bagaglio di competenze.

Per concludere, l’esperienza che CRCC Asia offre ai candidati un ventaglio di opportunità enorme per arricchirsi personalmente.

Dopo essermi laureata in discipline della mediazione linguistica ho deciso che per perfezionare il mio cinese avrei dovuto vivere direttamente in Cina per un certo periodo di tempo. Navigando in rete alla ricerca di qualcosa che facesse al caso mio mi sono imbattuta nei programmi di CRCC Asia, mi sono informata e dopo poco ho deciso di partire… mai scelta fu più giusta! Già da prima della partenza lo staff si è dimostrato disponibile e cortese nel fornirmi qualsiasi informazione di cui necessitassi.

Al di fuori dell’ambiente lavorativo ho conosciuto persone altrettanto fantastiche, sono nate amicizie forti, difficili da dimenticare. It was a big decision to join the CRCC Asia program, but it’s the best decision I have made in my life so far. Straight from the application stage to living/working in China, CRCC Asia is there to provide help and support along the way. I had other offers available at the time, but I knew that going overseas, getting international work experience will be more beneficial…and I was right! Questa esperienza è stata fantastica per me, ho avuto la possibilità di venire in Cina, vedere bellissimi posti, capire e vedere alcuni aspetti della cultura (ed è stato davvero stimolante), e avere una panoramica del comportamento cinese nel Business, come dite voi.

Questi tre mesi sono stati sicuramente uno dei più grandi successi della mia vita, e spero davvero di poterlo usare per la mia carriera futura, qualsiasi dovesse essere.

Grazie a CRCC Asia per avermi permesso di vivere questo tipo di esperienza, è stata la prima (e di certo non sarà l’ultima) possibilità per me di vedere la Cina, la sua cultura e i suoi luoghi storici.

Qui la cultura cinese è mescolata alle varie culture dei residenti. E’ una città moderna, dinamica e internazionale, offre moltissime opportunità anche per noi giovani occidentali. Anche sul posto di lavoro i miei colleghi erano molto giovani e pochi di loro erano cinesi. Le mie aspettative sono state certamente soddisfatte: questa esperienza mi ha permesso di arricchire il mio curriculum e di crescere a livello professionale.

As a business development/marketing intern through CRCC Asia, I was placed at a luxury Chinese outbound travel agency. While working there, I was able to work on two major influential projects for the company.

Looking back on  my Internship in Beijing through CRCC Asia, I realize the value of the international work experience that I have gained. I was blessed to avoid the stereotypical experience of the “coffee and copies” intern, and was instead able to step outside of my comfort zone on the complete opposite side of the world to contribute to a company’s future.
